Next Friday, the 17th of July marks the day of the 50th anniversary of Billie Holiday. Wouldn't that be the perfect moment to remember her and to syncronize a toast to her memory at nine o'clock? (21:00 CET).
It would be great if many lovers of her music could celebrate Billie on that day... And if nine o'clock is too early or too late, just do it when it suits you, as long as you toast to her ;-)
The Producer - If you like Billie you must be interested in this book
too, it's a biography about John Hammond. The man that not only put
the spotlight on Billie or Benny Goodman, but also "discovered
people like Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. More in Worth reading!
